Dr. Cat Tyndall (TCM) graduated with a Masters of Applied Science (Acupuncture) from RMIT and holds a double degree in Nursing and Paramedicine. Together, these qualifications allow Cat to have an in depth understanding of the physiology of the body from both a Western perspective and Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. Cat brings a unique set of the skills and experiences to the clinic, having assisted the community during times of crisis in her role as a Paramedic over the last six years.
A message from Cat:
“My foundation in nursing and paramedicine taught me early, that evidence-based practice is one of the cornerstones of good quality healthcare. Over the last 13 years, there has been an explosion of research examining Chinese Medicine (over 13,000 studies!), and I am eager to share this knowledge with you in a way that makes sense.
It is my wholehearted belief that Chinese Medicine provides wonderful insight and indeed a missing piece of the puzzle when it comes to managing a wide variety of the conditions we now face in our fast paced and highly stimulated society. I am constantly amazed by the benefits of acupuncture for pain, gut health and emotional well being and feel driven to help others achieve vitality.
If you’re a little lost, have been suffering and not feeling heard or simply just want to have a chat about how acupuncture might be able to help you, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me”.
