Dr Kylee Junghans

Dr Kylee Junghans is a Registered acupuncturist who is passionate about providing quality holistic healthcare. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Acu), a Master’s Degree in Public Health and is the co-founder of the world’s largest online acupuncture specific research group, with nearly 10,000 members globally. Kylee has a special interest in mental health and women’s health/fertility and has been fortunate to study under world renowned experts in her field.

She is an evidence-based practitioner, committed to ongoing education and loves nothing more than sinking her teeth into the latest scientific acupuncture paper, translating results, and bringing the benefits directly to her patients. After many years holidaying on the family farm in beautiful Arawata, Kylee moved to South Gippsland (from the Gold Coast) with her husband, two teenage daughters and two dogs. Since buying a farm down the road from her family, the menagerie has grown considerably and the dream to create a life where no vacation is needed, is a reality.

Years of experience have taught us the best ways to provide safe, effective treatments to care for our patients. Acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific sites (acupuncture points) along the body's meridians to clear energy blockages and encourage the normal flow of qi through the patient. The practitioner may also stimulate the acupuncture points using other methods, including moxibustion, cupping, laser therapy, electro-stimulation and massage, in order for the qi flow to return to normal. Hundreds of clinical studies on the benefits of acupuncture show that it successfully treats conditions ranging from musculoskeletal problems (back pain, neck pain, and others) to nausea, migraine headache, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and infertility.

During pregnancy, acupuncture has been used to treat pelvic and back pain as well as nausea.
